LISA MAAS
Executive Director

Lisa Maas came to CAPP in 2006 with 20 years of diversified legal experience with particular expertise in litigation, insurance, corporate law and board governance. She spent 15 years as Chief Legal Officer and Vice President for the California Dental Association and The Dentists Insurance Company and served as a CAPP board member since the organization’s inception in 1991.

Lisa earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her law degree from the University of Southern California. She remains an active Berkeley alum while also volunteering her time with Broadway Sacramento.

AJ KENNEDY
Communications Director

AJ Kennedy joined CAPP in October of 2008. She came to CAPP from the California Dental Association. AJ graduated from the California State University of Sacramento with a BA in Organizational Communication and a minor in Government. She volunteers her time on the board of Kops-N-Kids, a nonprofit organization that hosts a week-long summer camp for 350 Sacramento youth.

AJ has a passion for traveling. Some of her most memorable trips have included Greece, Cambodia, South Africa, Chile and Argentina.

KRISTINA GELABERT
Executive Assistant

Kristina Gelabert joined CAPP in July of 2018 ready to apply her experience as an administrative professional to a new industry: government affairs. Kristina began her professional career at Apple Inc. in 2011 in New York, her hometown. She relocated with the company to San Francisco in 2014 as an administrative assistant to local leadership in the growing retail market.

After three years in the Bay Area, Kristina and her family relocated to Sacramento, with their two young sons.

Kristina enjoys cooking, entertaining, home design and discovering new and exciting things to do around the beautiful city of Sacramento.
